The times bitterness is all a Kenyan can think of

Sometimes I sit to think and I hate it. To think that each day, month or year is a disaster to someone in Kenya.
Looking back a few years was the election violence that cost thousands of Kenyans their lives. An unfortunate time they will never forget in their lives. People were left homeless, children were orphaned and women raped off their dignity.

A few years later a petrol tanker rolled at Sachangwan which cost hundreds of Kenyans lives. Now you can remember that I almost forgot the Nakumatt incident which  took away innocent shopper's lives. I wonder if all victims were found....

I can hardly remember all the tragic incidents that have occurred since because they are many. But for sure The drought can not be forgotten. Thanks to the heartily Kenyans who contributed to the Kenyans for Kenya campaign that realized millions of money to feed hungry Kenyans... God will bless you. But again let's hope that the money contributed does its job because there is a tendency of people embezzling funds....And that the money contributed from those"big companies " wasn't away to show off.

NOW, recently the Sinai Slums fire out break. That was such a shock I haven't absorbed yet. I don't have the full story but I understand that that it was a petrol fire that caused lives...... As I read through the news its evident that the government has been slow to respond to the victims needs and they are getting angry about it.

Right now one can only thank heavens a tragedy hasn't come their way. Live life knowing that anytime could be a bad time and only hope that as inflation hits 16% they will survive through.....

Those are my thoughts though.
