Now everyone is weeping over the untimely loss of laureate and Nobel prize winner Professor Wangari Mathai. She was an eminent leader respectable all over the world for her great concern for the environment. She died at a time when the world is concerned about global warming...So sad.
Remember the death of MJ? The world couldn't bear such huge loss. Actually I never used to like Him till his death. That's when it dawned on me that He was great. For sure.
So the interesting part of the two stories above is "FAME". Being famous is easy. Our lecturer said. Just do stupid and silly things but let the world know how silly you can be.
'SILLY'. According to him,(lecturer) anyone can plant trees along wetlands and public places like Professor. I mean surely who can't?.........Anyone can sing and dance. But look at MJ's noisy silly dancing on stage. I mean? It was so silly you'd hook your eyes up the whole time watching him perform a live show.
The challenge here is,... How many times have you thought about silly staff and never told anyone? Never showed the world what you got? That's how you/me/we lost our fame. We are too afraid to put our thoughts into tangible evidence because we think the world will see us as STUPID. But even the guy who discovered the wheel? He must have pushed, pulled and rolled silly staff before he discovered it was a great idea to have one.
Be a Wangari/Mj or anyone who took a courage once in life and people appreciated.
DON'T BE AFRAID TO BE SILLY IF YOU WANNA BE FAMOUS. I think am also sounding silly but.......(to be continued).
